Interconnected Electric System

All electric energy transmission facilities and all distribution systems in Alberta (or any other jurisdiction or combination of jurisdictions) that are interconnected. The Alberta Electric Utilities Act excludes from the definition the service area of the City of Medicine Hat. A system consisting of two or more individual electric energy systems connected together by tie lines.
