MAP - Market Achievement Plan

Balancing Pool - 2000. During 2001, the Balancing Pool Fund made payments to Alberta consumers of about $2.2 billion in keeping with the Government's Electricity Rebate Program. The rebates were funded from the proceeds of the Government's Power Purchase Arrangement Auction held in August 2000 and from the Market Achievement Plan Auction, December 2000.
